The hotel features a brasserie that is a sunny atrium during the day and candlelit by night. The hotel offers several areas that can be booked for private functions providing an opportunity for corporate event managers to combine an evening at the theatre with pre-theatre dinner and drinks in a designated area, or a post-show nightcap.
The interior design carries through aspects of the heritage-style Palace Bar with accents of dark timber and polished brass, with the addition of plush modern furnishings in the form of lounges, banquettes, chairs and stools along with dining tables and a framed view of the working kitchen.
The new palette of crème, charcoal and maroon is used throughout to marry the heritage elements of the façade and internal bars with the contemporary elements introduced. Externally, the colour palette enhances the elaborate architectural detail of the George Street entrance while providing the venue with a fresh, clean appeal.
