Argyle Hotel Group (Australia) (“AHG”) is an exporter of the highest Australian standard of hotel and resort management and asset management services throughout China. AHG was established in Australia in 2002 and launched its operations in China in 2005.
Having identified a significant lack of luxury, international-standard hotels in China’s 2nd and 3rd tier cities in 2005, AHG focused its business efforts in these areas. AHG has benefited significantly from this strategic focus and has had continued strong growth and expansion throughout China with 52 hotels, 12 of which are fully operational, with several opening over the next two years.
As a result of these investments we now have US$ 2.8 billion worth of assets under management and a total of 11,760 hotel rooms.
