This spectacular annual outdoor lighting festival is held 24 May – 15 June 2024 in Sydney.
Vivid Sydney is an annual festival set to return on 24 May to 16 June 2024. The 23 day festival showcases cutting-edge light art and a free 8.5km Light Walk adventure covering Circular Quay, The Rocks, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour, Darling Square, Darling Quarter, The Goods Line and Central Station! This year, Light also takes over Taronga Zoo with Wild Lights and The Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney with Lightscape, the world-famous spellbinding 2.1km experience in Sydney for the first time ever!
Invigorating the city of Sydney with 57 awe-inspiring art installations and 3D interactive light projections, Vivid Light transforms our urban environment into a kaleidoscopic wonderland.
The event also plays host to some of the best Australian and international musical acts as well as creatives and masterminds who share their ideas and inspirations. Also with a special culinary experience this year. There’s something for everyone.
Lightscape will be in Sydney for the first time ever so you can stroll beneath towering tree canopies illuminated in hypnotising colour, be amazed by larger-than-life flowers and travel through beautiful glowing tunnels. Secure your tickets to The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney and don’t miss your 2.1km journey of Lightscape! Ticket holders can gain entry from 5.30pm and the journey will take approximately 90 minutes.
