Bruce Munro: Tropical Light Exhibition

Bruce Munro: Tropical Light

From 1st November 2019 to 30th April 2020.

The enchanting exhibition is based upon renowned artist Bruce Munro’s experiences of visiting Australia and  his love of the Northern Territory. The illuminated sculptures are inspired by Darwin’s beauty, unique wildlife, locals and stunning sunsets. The exhibition will also feature unique pieces of work from 6 local artists.

The exhibition will run through the Darwin CBD and Waterfront precinct, with the sculptures connected by a self-guided path. It is an attraction to be experienced during the day but will really come to life as the sculptures illuminate at 7:00pm.

The exhibition is free to view and will run for six months. The facilities for the event include a carpark, public toilets, as well as being family friendly and catering for those with disabilities.

This is a captivating event, in which visitors can immerse themselves in the exhibition and see Darwin in a different light. The exhibition will allow people to enjoy and explore everything the Darwin CBD and waterfront precinct has to offer.
