Metro Hotels, Australia’s oldest 100 percent Australian owned and operated hotel chain, is offering exclusive discounts to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) community, entitling members of the ADF and their partners and families to discounted accommodation at its network of hotels and apartments across the country.
The discount program allows Australian Partners of Defence (APOD) members and their families to take advantage of discounted rates. Serving and former Defence members and their direct family members are also eligible for the rates, which are 15% off the best available rate or 5% off already discounted hot deals.
“The Australian Defence Force is one of the largest and most important employers in Australia, and in recognition of their contribution we are delighted to offer special rates with Defence discounts,” said Metro Hotels’ Managing Director Peter Frawley.
“We have extended the benefit of discounted accommodation to direct family members so they are able to take advantage of these rates as well.”
“In addition, our properties will offer APOD members a 5% discount on hot deals every month which are one off accommodation rates and packages that have already been significantly discounted.”
Mr Frawley said the discounted accommodation rates were introduced as a result of feedback received from Defence personnel who were already staying at Metro Hotels for business purposes. “They mentioned that special offers, which could be used when they wanted to go on holidays with family and short trips away, would be well received.”
Metro Hotels offers a range of accommodation options across Australia in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Gladstone, Darwin and Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory.
