Metro Hotel Perth has been awarded a Gold Medal in the Standard Accommodation category of the 2017 Perth Airport Western Australian Tourism Awards held at Crown Perth on Saturday 11 November, 2017.
As a Gold Medallist in the State Awards Metro Hotel Perth will go on to represent Western Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, being held at Perth Stadium on February 23, 2018.
The Western Australian Tourism Awards are recognised as the most prestigious tourism awards in the State, showcasing the best in the industry for outstanding customer service, innovation and ongoing business excellence.
The Awards are organised by Tourism Council WA and supported by Tourism WA.
Metro Hotel Perth completed a major $14million redevelopment last year, which included a newly-built 53-room ‘Aspire Wing’, a new Red Bill restaurant and revamped function rooms, reception area and lobby.
Metro Hotel Perth General Manager, Paul Rogers, said he and his staff were thrilled to be awarded first place in the Standard Accommodation category.
