This November, Metro Hotels staff across Sydney are growing moustaches for a cause. Twelve team members from Metro Aspire Hotel Sydney, Metro Apartments on Darling Harbour, Metro Apartments on King and Metro Hotel Miranda are proudly taking part in Movember, raising awareness and funds for men’s health.
It is that time of year again when moustaches take centre stage for a good cause. The Metro Hotels team in Sydney is stepping up, or rather, growing out, in support of Movember, the global movement changing the face of men’s health.
This year, twelve Metro Hotels staff members are taking part in the initiative, rallying support for men’s mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer awareness. Among the participants are Jeremy, Brandon and Christian, representing the Metro Aspire Hotel Sydney, Metro Apartments on Darling Harbour, Metro Apartments on King and Metro Hotel Miranda teams.
Together, they are aiming to raise funds and awareness to support life-saving research, education and mental health programs that help men live happier, healthier and longer lives.
At Metro Hotels, community connection and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Supporting Movember gives staff an opportunity to unite behind a cause that touches so many lives, both within our team and among our guests.
Men’s health issues often go unnoticed or undiscussed. Movember helps bring these important topics into the open, encouraging conversations that can lead to early detection, better treatment and stronger support networks. By taking part, the Metro Hotels Sydney team hopes to not only raise funds but also inspire others to check in on their mates and prioritise their own wellbeing.
