The 57th annual Gladstone Harbour Festival is an exciting and eventful experience filled with family fun!
The harbour will be bursting with excitement, showcasing local talent and community spirit, the festival is always a family favourite.
The festival includes a variety of entertainment, rides for kids, selection of food and drinks, the marina markets, a harbour fun run, Easter egg hunt, stunning fireworks displays and plenty of other fun activities. It is a must visit event for free family entertainment.
There will be a range of activities for kids of all ages; there is the Headspace chill out zone, the Crafty Capers Craft Workshop, the PCYC’s Blue Light Trailer and also the International music stall where kids will get the chance to learn a variety of multicultural dances. The Stockland Gladstone’s teddy bear picnic is held on the Saturday and will include the annual Easter egg hunt.
The annual and always exciting Orica and HIT 93.5’s great raft regatta takes place on Friday at 9:00am- this is sure to be an exciting event as competitors race to the finish for a chance to win great prizes. Be sure to catch the finish of the Qantas 71st Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race- one of the biggest ocean yacht races in Australia. The 308 nautical mile ocean race starts in Brisbane on Good Friday; with entrants from top race boats in Australia and the world it is going to be an exciting race to the finish. The trophy presentations to the winner will be in the afternoon on the Sunday. The race is considered an iconic event of Queensland, so don’t miss cheering the boats in as they finish in Gladstone Harbour.
The always fun street parade is happening once again, the Workforce International festival street parade theme is parade of sounds and colour. Amazingly decorated floats, costumes and performances are a must see event taking the streets of Gladstone.
Throughout the festival will be a variety of live performances on the main stage, from singing to dancing there will be nonstop fun and entertainment. With family fun night, Bohemian Rhapsody- the ultimate tribute to Queen, Australian rock classics and the Major Tom Show featuring a tribute to David Bowie and ABBAFAB.

Entry is free! The festival rides cost from $5- $12 per ride.
The festival is at the GPC Marina Parklands. The address is Bryan Jordan Drive, Gladstone, Queensland, Australia 4680.
From Metro Hotel and Apartments Gladstone it is an easy 4 minute drive to the festival. If you are up for a walk, it is just over a 20 minute walk.
From Apartments G60 Gladstone, again it is just a 4 minute drive and a just over 20 minute walk.
There is plenty of parking available at Central Queensland University in the Marina Parklands, and in the parking area next to the Fish Market on Lord St. These areas are assisted by the SES and a gold coin donation is appreciated. There is also parking available in the Marina near the Visitor Information Centre and in the Gladstone CBD.
