SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium

SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium

Come meet the thousands of aquatic animals that call SEA Life Melbourne Aquarium home! Here you can view one of Australia’s largest saltwater crocodiles in a spectacular 360 degree experience. In Penguin Playground, marvel at the sub-Antarctic penguins as they play on the snow-covered ice. Other zones to explore include the jaw-dropping Mermaid Garden which houses huge stingrays and massive sharks and the interactive Discovery Rockpools where you can touch sea stars and shark eggs. You can also try spot Dory, the famous Southern Blue Tang in our Coral Atoll full of colourful and exotic animals.

Don’t miss these experiences at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium

For a once-in-a-lifetime-experience, get amongst the majestic King and cheeky Gentoo penguins with Penguin Passport. In this attraction, you will be suited up in Antarctic snow gear and taken to meet the colony of sub-Antarctic penguins. You’ll also get the opportunity to see how food is prepared and how sub-zero temperatures are maintained.

For the more adventurous, swim amongst huge sharks, stingrays and more in Shark Dive Extreme. There are no tanks here! Just you, your instructors and the animals.

For the best way to experience all the action, take The Behind the Scenes & Glass Bottom Boat Tour. Here you will come back of house and meet massive stingrays and glide above the 2.2 million litre Oceanarium which houses thousands of animals.
